What is the difference between Flush and Framed?Updated 10 months ago
We like to refer to these names as our models! It also is an indicator of how the product gets installed.
Flush means that the product needs to be installed at the drywall phase (for wall vents) and sub-floor level (for floor vents. Framed means that the product can be installed once the drywall or flooring phase is completed and you're at the painting stage.
If you're looking for the sleekest look and can install at drywall or subfloor stage, we recommend our Flush model. If you're looking for a more DIY friendly option, such as to replace an existing grille, we recommend our Framed models.
